"I was raised in a musical family. Irish songs, country songs, show tunes, swing, big band, I was exposed to it all. I found myself gravitating toward lyrically oriented music and great harmonies, in particular. Some influences were "The Bachellors", John Denver, early rock n' rollers, and vocal-oriented groups like the Everly Brothers, the Beatles, and early Motown artists. Songwriters like Irving Berlin and Gus Kahn wrote timeless classics that have always held a place in my heart.
